Have fun doctoring all the things that go ouch while learning the sound of OU!
Materials Needed:
- OU Ouch Girl and Boy Printable
- OU Ouchies Printable
- Scissors
- Laminator (optional)
Instructions:
- Print the OU Ouch Girl and Boy Printable
- Laminate the printable (optional)
- Cut out the boy and girl, the remedies, and the OU Ouchie cards
- Teach your child the sound that OU makes – OU makes the sound that is at the beginning of ouch and out.
- Explain the activity: your child will draw an ouchie card and read it (or you can read it for her). She will then decide what remedy she wants to use to treat the ouchie. She will read the OU word on the remedy as she places the remedy on the ouchie.
- Play until your child loses interest or until she has treated all the ouchies. Have fun and let me know how it goes.
